Organic packaging materials are used a lot in semiconductor packaging, mainly for insulation and structural layers. They’re not just “protective layers” — in many cases, they decide how flexible the process can be.

At Semixlab, we use these materials in things like RDL structures, wafer-level packaging, and fine interconnect patterns. They fit quite well into multi-step processes, especially where patterning is needed.

What people usually like about organic systems is simple — they are easier to work with. Not perfect, but flexible. And in complex designs, that matters more than it sounds.
